Finally, click “Create My Account” and deposit some money into your new account.
Step 2
Now you can browse through the many sports available to bet on in the William Hill sportsbook. Select the sport of your choice from the horizontal menu running across the top of the page to see the different leagues and competitions. Once you have found the fixture you want, click on it to discover all the different betting options.
Step 3
Once on the page for an individual fixture, scroll down until you find the handicap and Asian handicap options. Remember that only selected sports and fixtures will have handicaps available, and only football fixtures use the Asian handicap betting system.
Step 4
For straightforward handicap bets, you will see three columns: one with the home team, one for a draw result, and one with the away team. Next to each team there will be a positive or negative number, indicating the number of goals which will be added to or taken away from the respective team’s total goal tally. This, in effect, is the handicap.
For Asian handicap bets, you will only see two options because this type of bet gets rid of any possibility of a draw outcome. The numerical values apply in the same way however, meaning that the positive or negative number will be taken away from the final score. Where there are two numerical values your money will be split and placed on both possible outcomes.
Simply select the odds that you wish to bet on by clicking the box in which they appear, causing the box to be highlighted in blue.
Step 5
When you have selected your odds they will appear on the right hand side of the screen in your Bet Slip. This is where you can manage all of your selected bets by either removing them or entering a stake. To enter a stake, enter the amount of money you want to place in the box and see the potential returns below.
Step 6
If you are happy with the potential winnings, then you simply have to click the big green “Place Bet” button.
