Detailed step by step guide
Step 1
Before you can place any type of bet online with Coral you will need to open an account with the bookmaker via the homepage of their website.
Step 2
With an open Coral account and some money in the kitty, you can begin searching for a sporting fixture to place your first handicap or Asian handicap bet on. On the Coral homepage you will find a menu of “Quick Links” to popular sports and featured competitions on the left hand side of the page. Below there is a comprehensive menu of “Sports A-Z”.
Click on any sport to reveal a drop down menu of countries and competitions relating to that sport. So, if you want to find Premier League match, you will need to click “Football”, then “England”. Once you find an individual fixture that you want to bet on, simply select it by clicking on the team names.
Step 3
After clicking on an individual match, you will be taken to a page with a whole range of different betting options. Scroll down until you find the options for “Handicap Match Result” and “Asian Handicap” near the bottom of the page.
Step 4
Now it’s time to select the handicap odds you want to place a bet on. For handicap bets, you will see that there are three columns of odds. These columns represent the home win, tie and away win outcomes of the fixture. Listed beneath each column will be a series of positive and negative numbers with respective odds; these numbers indicate the handicap, or the amount of goals which will be added to or taken away from the team’s total goal tally. In the “Tie on Handicap” column, the team which is effected by the handicap will be specified.
The same rules apply for Asian handicap bets but you will only see two options, this is because the possibility of a draw is taken out of the equation for this type of bet. If you see two handicap values next to a set of odds, this means that the money which you place as a stake will be split and placed on both handicap values at the specified odds.
If you see some odds that you like, select them by clicking on the green box in which they appear.
Step 5
When you select odds, they will appear in your Betslip on the right hand side of the page. Your Betslip is where you can manage all of you bet selections at any time whilst browsing the Coral website. If you are happy with your selections then enter a stake amount into the box next to your selected bets. You will see your “Total Stake” and “Potential Return” at the bottom of the slip.
Step 6
If you satisfied with your bets and the potential winnings, then all you have to do is click the “Place Bet” button!
